About Affordable All-Pro Roofing

We are a locally owned roofing company working out of West Jordan, covering all of Salt Lake County. We have been doing this since 2011, and the overwhelming majority of our work comes from homeowners who were referred by someone we already worked for.

How we think about the job

Roofing has an information problem. Once the shingles are on, a homeowner has no practical way to verify that the ice-and-water shield went down at the eaves, that the flashing is new rather than reused, or that anyone actually looked at the decking. A badly installed roof looks identical to a well-installed one for about four years.

Almost everything that is wrong with this industry follows from that gap. It is why storm chasers work, why one-line estimates exist, and why "we'll take care of your deductible" gets said out loud.

Our answer is not a slogan, it is a set of habits: photograph what we find and hand the photos over, itemize the scope down to the underlayment product, name the per-sheet decking rate before we tear off so nobody has an incentive to inflate the count, pull the permit, and collect final payment after the walkthrough rather than before it.

We will tell you not to buy a roof

This is the part that sounds like marketing and is not. A meaningful share of the inspections we run end with us writing down a remaining-life estimate and leaving without a sale. That costs us money today. It is also the entire reason we are still here after more than a decade, because the homeowner who got an honest answer calls us back when it really is time — and tells their neighbor.

Licensing and insurance

We hold Utah DOPL license #13872603-5509, and we carry both general liability and workers’ compensation. Look the license up yourself at the Utah Division of Professional Licensing — it takes about thirty seconds and you should do it for every contractor who bids your roof, us included. For the insurance, ask our agent to send the certificate to you directly; a PDF forwarded by the contractor is not the same thing.
